Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
- Install new plumbing systems and fixtures according to building codes and safety standards.
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate estimates and explain repair options to customers.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by local jurisdiction).
- Minimum [2] years of experience in plumbing service work.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Hand & Power Tools necessary for plumbing service repair.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing services across multiple projects, ensuring exceptional quality, safety, and efficiency. Your leadership will drive team performance, foster client satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of construction management. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to project scheduling, construction estimating, and site management while leveraging advanced construction management software tools to deliver outstanding results.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of plumbing service projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to accurately plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs
- Manage project documentation including schematics, contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and safety compliance; address issues proactively
- Develop accurate construction estimates by applying industry best practices in construction estimating techniques
- Ensure effective project coordination through detailed scheduling using ServiceTitan or similar tools; adjust plans as needed for unforeseen challenges
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement in construction management processes
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and time management to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and cost control measures
- Ability to read technical schematics and understand complex plumbing systems
- Valid experience in managing construction sites safely while adhering to all safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail in contract administration and project documentation
